People need information quickly. That’s why UK consumers overpay hundreds each year for household bills; because the information they need to manage utilities like energy, mobile and insurance accounts is hard, not to mention tedious, to access, manage and compare.

So without further ado, we’re delighted to announce Onedox now works with voice command! 

Starting with Google Assistant (available on Android, Google Home and newer iOS devices), it’s now possible to understand what’s going on with your household accounts, simply by asking Onedox.

Across a range of household utilities and suppliers, you can ask things like:

  • how much was my last bill?
  • when does my contract renew?
  • when does my car MOT expire?; and
  • can I save money?

It’s easy to imagine how this could evolve and be increasingly useful in future; with voice providing a convenient channel for doing things where you have a precious moment spare – maybe paying a bill, requesting a call from a supplier or getting advice on alternative products and services. We’re excited to see how our customers use it and how it will develop.
