Our vision at Onedox is to provide consumers with transparent access to their own data and to be able to use that information in useful ways.
So for some time, we’ve been thinking, wouldn’t it be super-useful if consumers could automatically access their own household bills within their banking app?
Rather than just seeing a line item in your online statement with the amount of a gas, mobile, or insurance bill (not that insightful), wouldn’t it be great if you could see the underlying data and the actual bill was attached?
Even better, what if your banking app magically told you when your contract ends for that product? Or gave you other useful insights into that supplier account and even allowed you to compare it with other available tariffs and suppliers?
Well… we decided to build it!
To show the art of the possible, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve built an integration with Monzo Bank* which provides exactly that market-first functionality.
Onedox customers will be able to connect their Onedox account and their Monzo account, and automatically enrich and personalise their banking experience. Check out the video below!
Today these capabilities are only available to Monzo/Onedox customers on our pilot because Monzo aren’t yet ready for applications like Onedox to integrate with them at scale. Due to popular demand the pilot is currently full, but if you are a Monzo customer and would like to test out these features as soon as they are available then please register for priority access (update: no longer available). It would be great to hear what else you would like Onedox + Monzo to do!
We see the future of banking as providing greater personalisation and value to consumers. This functionality enabled by Onedox takes us one step further into the future.
*Monzo beat us into 3rd place for Fintech Innovation of the Year, so we thought if we can’t beat them then join them!
